A syndrome that involves the uncontrolled and abnormal division of eukaryotic cells. An informal term for a diverse class of diseases marked by abnormal cell proliferation.



Arimidex
  Arimidex is an aromatase inhibitor used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause.  

Casodex
  This medicine is an anti-androgen used in combination with another medicine to treat prostate cancer.  

Eligard
  This medicine is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to treat endometriosis or prostate cancer. It is also used to treat central precocious puberty (CPP).  

Emblon
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Eulexin
  This medicine is an anti-androgen used in combination with another medicine to treat prostate cancer.  

Femara
  This medicine is an aromatase inhibitor used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause.  

Genox
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Hydrea
  Hydrea is an antineoplastic used to treat certain types of cancer. Hydrea may also be used to treat sickle cell anemia and other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Lupron
  This medicine is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to treat endometriosis or prostate cancer. It is also used to treat central precocious puberty (CPP).  

Nolvadex
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Rheumatrex
  This medicine is an antimetabolite used control severe psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis. Methotrexate is also used to treat certain types of cancer. This medicine works by interfering with cell growth and by suppressing the immune system. Early treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with more aggressive therapy such as methotrexate helps to reduce further joint damage and to preserve joint function. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor, including lupus and psoriatic arthritis.  

Soltamox

Tamofen
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Tamone
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Tamosin
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

Tamoxen
  This medicine is an anti-estrogen used to treat or prevent breast cancer. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.  

VePesid
  VePesid is an antineoplastic used to treat certain types of cancer.  

Viadur
  This medicine is a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist used to treat endometriosis or prostate cancer. It is also used to treat central precocious puberty (CPP).  

Zofran
  Zofran is an antiemetic used to prevent nausea and vomiting following chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery. Zofran may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
